"My situation in Barca is very tragic"
Defender Thomas Vermaelen has spoken out about his poor condition in the Barcelona shirt.
Thomas Vermaelen wants to leave Barca in the summer of 2017. Belgian midfielder has received many offers from the Premier League club especially Everton but Barcelona did not let him go although Thomas Vermaelen has personally met BLL and BHL. The Catalan team asked them to let him go.
"The club have said that I have to stay despite receiving offers from some teams," Thomas Vermaelen said in an interview in the Belgian daily Derniere Heure.
Stay in Barcelona but Thomas Vermaelen has not played any matches for the Catalan side. The former Arsenal midfielder is looking forward to playing in the squad to maintain his fitness and regain the chance to qualify for the national team but he has yet to play, even for Barca B.
"Even the desire to kick for Barca B is not because the Spanish law does not allow. My situation in Barcelona is very tragic now, "said Thomas Vermaelen.
Thomas Vermaelen has returned to Barca on loan from AS Roma. In Rome, Thomas Vermaelen was not as effective when he played just nine matches in Serie A last season.
