Update: M.U breathe because of Fellaini

Manu was relieved when Marouane Fellaini did not have serious knee ligament damage as initially feared.

Fellaini suffered a knee injury in Belgium's 4-3 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina last night. The midfielder had to leave the field at 30 minutes and was assessed for serious problems.

Coach Martinez admits he is concerned Fellaini has broken his ligaments and is at risk of long-term rest. In recent times, many of the stars have been injured. Man Utd also had two broken ligaments last season: Marcos Rojo and Ibrahimovic.

However, the latest inspection by the Belgian Football Association showed that Fellaini only strained ligaments and can recover after a few weeks of rest.

This is very nice news with Manchester United in the context they are losing Carrick and Pogba indefinitely. After a hamstring injury from Pogba, Fellaini has become a key figure in Mourinho's tactics.

Of course, Man Utd are still struggling despite mild injuries, especially when they have been Liverpool's guest in the Premier League this weekend.
